On this edition of High School Football America, host Jeff Fisher talks with Rush Propst, head coach at Colquitt County High School in Georgia. The Packers are currently ranked #22 in the latest High School Football America Top 25. Propst, who built Hoover (Alabama) into a winner, has taken Colquitt County to the Georgia AAAAAA state semifinals or better five straight years.
Also on the show, Fisher talks with Bridget Algeo, sister of the late Dan Algeo, head coach at Cardinal O’Hara High School in suburban Philadelphia, who died suddenly over the summer of a heart attack at 49 years old. Bridget tells how her brother is still others by being an organ donor.
Dan’s father Jim is the legendary head coach from Lansdale Catholic, who retired several years ago after 44 years as the head coach of the Crusaders. Jim is back on the sidelines at Cardinal O’Hara now as an assistant, helping the young men at the Philadelphia area school cope with the loss of his son and their beloved head coach.
