There’s no doubt about it, #11 St. Edward is a talented football team on both sides of the ball. Tonight in Cincinnati, the Eagles will get a good in-state test when they face Elder at The Pit.
Until Elder lost to Maryland’s McDonough last week, it looked like both teams would enter the game 3-0.
Elder head coach Doug Ramsey told the Cincinnati Enquirer this week, “we play a team this week that could be one of the most talented teams to ever play in Ohio.”
St. Ed quarterback and South Florida commit Brett Kean is coming off an 18-for-23 performance last week in a 42-0 shutout of St. Joseph Regional of Montvale, New Jersey. Kean threw three TD’s last week, two to Kentucky commit wide receiver Alex Stump and one two Notre Dame commit wide receiver Shaun Crawford.
