There are several interesting games on this week’s High School Football America Top 25 schedule.

At the head of this week’s schedule is #2 IMG Academy (Florida) taking-on #49 Oxbridge Academy (Florida).  Both teams are loaded with FBS college football talent and bring undefeated records into the game.  Oxbridge Academy 6-0 start is impressive considering that in May the program was rocked by a scandal that resulted in a massive house cleaning at the top of the school that included the firing of head football coach Doug Socha .  Socha’s contract wasn’t renewed and school officials ousted CEO Bob Parsons and Athletic Director Craig Sponsky, who been on paid leave since April while the school conducted an internal investigation into allegations of sexual harassment and what was been described as rampant turnover at the school.

#4 DeMatha‘s (Maryland) drive for a fourth straight Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title continues Saturday against Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.), the #10 team in the High School Football America Mid-Atlantic Region Top 10.  Last year, Gonzaga beat the Stags 24-14.

#15 Warren Central (Indiana), whose only loss this year was to #7 Colerain (Ohio), is back in the Buckeye State this week.  The Warriors (7-1) will square-off with St. Xavier (4-3), which has spent time in the High School Football America Top 50 this season, playing one of the toughest schedules in the nation.  St. X saw a its four-game win streak snapped last week when it was beaten by two-time Ohio Division II champ La Salle. St. X’s losses have been against #6 St. John Bosco (California), #7 Colerain and #45 La Salle.
