San Jon completed its first-ever undefeated season Saturday, and in the process won the school’s first state title, beating Lake Arthur 47-46 in the New Mexico 6-Man State Championship Game. Lake Arthur fell behind 47-20 with 2:21 to go in the third quarter, but the Panthers were able to battle back before coming-up one point shy.
