Bishop Gorman, ranked #1 in every national poll, put an end to the 2016 season with an exclamation point with a 84-8 blowout of Liberty in the Nevada 4A championship game, the Gaels eighth straight title. The win was the 54th straight overall for Bishop Gorman.

Ohio State-bound Tate Martell closed out a perfect career as the school’s quarterback with 81 yards rushing with three touchdowns. Martell, who was 42-0 as Gorman’s starting QB, completed 7-of-8 passes for 139 yards.
