#28 Cocoa captures Florida 4A title

Powered by a running game that put three players over the century mark on the ground, Cocoa, ranked #28 in the High School Football America National Top 50, beat the Bolles School 31-17 in the Florida Class 4A championship game Thursday night.  Javian Hawkins, Lasedrick King and quarterback Bruce Judson all rushed for more than 100 yards in the victory that gave Cocoa (11-1) its fourth overall high school football state championship.

Bolles (12-1) lost for the fourth time in the last five 4A championship games since winning the title in 2011.  Bolles has won ten state football championship under legendary head coach Corky Rogers.
