While we had planned on releasing our final High School Football America rankings today, the State Champions Bowl Series that will be played Friday changed that, since three teams in the Top 50 will be in action.

The top eleven teams held their spots from last week.  Texas Class 6A Division I champ DeSoto moves-up two spots to #12 this week.  Re-entering the Top 25 this week at #25 is South Pointe, which won its third straight South Carolina state championship Saturday.

Cibolo Steele drops into The Other 25, while Allen (Texas) at #17, Hoover (Alabama) at #18, St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, New Jersey) at #19, Paramus Catholic (New Jersey) at #20, La Salle (Ohio) at #21, St. Xavier (Ohio) at #22, Saguaro (Arizona) at #23 and Edna Karr (Louisiana) at #24, all slide-up one spot.
