Southlake Carroll High School footballWith three of the top four teams idle and only two losses within the Top 25 this past weekend, there isn’t a whole lot of movement in the latest national rankings.

There are no changes until we get to #13 where Southlake Carroll (Texas) moves-up one spot after being #17 Euless Trinity (Texas) 10-6 on Friday.  Trinity drops only a spot in our rankings.

Also sliding-up a spot is Colquitt County (Georgia) after an impressive win over previously undefeated Valdosta.

Aside from Trinity’s loss, only #23 Archbishop Moeller (Ohio) was the only Top 25 team to lose this weekend. Moving into the poll is Brentwood Academy of Tennessee at #25.

The biggest game on the horizon this coming weekend is on Thursday when #5 DeSoto takes over defending Texas 5A Division II champ Cedar Hill that began the season ranked in the High School Football America, but dropped-out after an early season 40-30 loss to #22 Skyline (Texas).

In northern California, #2 De La Salle and #9 Folsom will face undefeated opponents Friday night.
