St. Paul’s Episcopal beat Pleasant Grove 35-13 Thursday night to capture Alabama’s Class 5A state title. The win capped a perfect 15-0 season for the Saints, who spent the entire year at the state’s #1 5A team.
In the 1A title game, Maplesville shutout Hubbertsville 49-0 behind Terence Dunlap‘s 241 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Dunlap is only a sophomore.
