Defending Class 6A champ Chandler is ranked No. 1 in the first 2017 High School Football America Arizona Top 10. The Wolves opened the season Friday with a 42-14 win over Red Mountain that solidified the team’s No. 11 ranking in the High School Football America National Top 100.

This weekend, Chandler will put both high rankings on the line against IMG Academy (Florida) that is ranked No. 5 in the nation.
Saguaro, the state’s No. 1 team in the High School Football America Arizona Top 10 in 2016 and No. 2 at the start of 2017, will also have a inter-Top 100 game. The Sabercats, ranked No. 33 in the latest national rankings, will travel to Nevada to play Liberty, ranked No. 60 in the nation.
