It’s showdown time in the High School Football America Southeast Region Top 20 that is created with our proprietary algorithm. No. 1 IMG Academy (Florida) squares-off with No. 4 Miami Central (Florida) this week.
IMG hasn’t played in two weeks because of Hurricane Irma, while Central is hoping to build its national championship resume on the strength of its win over national-power Bishop Gorman (Nevada) two weeks ago. This one will also affect the national Top 100, where IMG is ranked No. 2 and Miami Central is No. 11.

Another rankings-shaper next week will be the match-up between Miami-powers No. 10 Northwestern (Florida) and Booker T. Washington (Florida). Northwestern has won the last two match-ups between the two.
New to the week is Pearl from Mississippi at No. 20.
