Bremond wins Texas Class 2A Division II title

Bremond rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat Albany 28-21 Thursday to win the Texas Class 2A Division II championship, the second in the school’s history.  The Tigers trailed 21-7 going into the fourth quarter at AT&T Stadium

Roshauud Paul scored the winning touchdown for 15-0 Bremond with 1:17 to go in the game. Bremond’s only other state title came in 1981.

Albany finishes 14-1.
