It’s the final week of the regular season in Indiana. No. 6 Roncalli drops-out of the latest High School Football America Indiana Top 10 after losing to Decatur Central 49-45 last week. The Rebels loss allows Snider (No. 6), Avon (No. 7), Valparaiso (No. 8) and Penn (No. 9) to slide-up a notch this week.
Cathedral moves into the Top 10 at No. 10 even though it owns a 3-5 record. Four of the five loses have come against teams that are currently in our national Top 100 or have spent time in the national rankings — No. 6 St. Xavier (Ohio), No. 19 St. Edward (Ohio), No. 71 Pickerington Central (Ohio) are currently ranked, while St. Xavier (Kentucky) was nationally ranked up until a couple of weeks ago. The Fighting Irish’s fifth loss was against King (Michigan), which is currently No. 16 in the Midwest Top 20.
