Everett, the No. 1 team all season long in the High School Football America Massachusetts Top 10, begins the road to defend its Division 1 Super Bowl championship Friday. The 7-0 Crimson Tide will play St. John’s Prep, which dropped-out of the Top 10 this week after losing to Bridgewater-Raynham.
Surprisingly, Everett is the No. 3 seed in the Division 1 North playoffs. No. 2 Central Catholic was given the top seed. In the Division 1 South playoffs, No. 4 BC High is the top seed.
Our No. 3 team, King Philip Regional is the top seed in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 2 South playoffs, while No. 6 Natick is the No. 2 seed.
Bridgewater-Raynham, which spent the first week in our Top 10, re-enters the rankings this week at No 9. B-R is the No. 3 seed in the Division 2 South playoffs.
