Mater Dei’s hold on the top spot of the High School Football America California Top 25 was strengthened with its 45-3 win over former No. 10 JSerra. This week the Monarchs play No. 17 Orange Lutheran, which is on a three-game losing streak after a 5-0 start.
All six Trinity League teams are in the Top 25. Aside from Mater Dei and OLu, No. 4 St. John Bosco plays No. 16 Servite and No. 11 JSerra takes-on No. 15 Santa Margarita.
While No. 9 Folsom held its spot in the statewide ranking, the Bulldogs did enter the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings at No. 96
