The 2017 regular season closes this weekend with six match-ups within the High School Football America Southern California Top 25.

Top-ranked Mater Dei will try to finish with a perfect 10-0 mark when it faces No. 13 and arch-rival Servite.  Also in the Trinity League, No. 3 St. John Bosco takes-on No. 12 JSerra and No. 11 Santa Margarita faces No. 14 Orange Lutheran.

The South Coast League title will be on the line Friday night when No. 4 Mission Viejo plays No. 10 San Clemente.  Both teams are unbeaten.  It will be Mission Viejo head coach Bob Johnson’s final regular season game as head coach of the Diablos.  Johnson announced that this will be his final season on the sidelines earlier this year.

No. 5 Chaminade can claim the Mission League title if it beats No. 24 Bishop Amat.  Both teams are a perfect 5-0 in league play.  Amat is on a five game win streak after an 0-4 start.

The final Top 25 head-to-head features No. 21 Paraclete taking-on 23 Sierra Canyon.
