All of the teams in the High School Football America Massachusetts Top 10 won their Thanksgiving Day games and have this weekend off with the state championship games set for next week at Gillette Stadium, home of the NFL’s New England Patriots.
BC High moves-up three spots to No. 7 after gaining revenge against Catholic Memorial in its Thanksgiving rivalry game. After losing in the Division 1 state quarterfinals 21-20 to Catholic Memorial, the Eagles beat the Knights 32-16 on Tuesday at Fenway Park that gave BC the Catholic Conference championship.
Top-ranked Everett will look to claim its second straight Division 1 title when it plays No. 7 Xaverian Brothers. These two played for the state title in 2016 with the Crimson Tide winning 21-7.
The Division 2 title will be on-the-line when No. 2 King Philip Regional plays No. 6 Lincoln-Sudbury. King Philip won its first-ever state title last year in Division 1A.
The Division 3 title will be decided in the battle between No. 3 St. John’s and No. 4 North Attleborough.
