Raines beat Cocoa, ranked No. 47 in the High School Football America Top 100, to claim Florida’s 4A title Thursday night. Cocoa was looking for its second straight state high school football championship.
Raines’ defense was outstanding, limiting the Tigers to just 153 yards in total offense.

The state championship is the first for Raines (13-1) since winning it all in 1997. Cocoa finishes 11-2.
