Even though IMG Academy played five or so fewer games then most teams in the Florida Top 25 in 2017, the Ascenders finish as the No. 1 team in our rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.  The Ascenders, who finished the season ranked No. 3 nationally in our Top 100, beat four state champs and one state runner-up this past season.  They will enter 2018 with a 36-game win streak.
