What a week ahead for the top part of the High School Football America Florida Top 25.
Top-ranked IMG Academy, which didn’t get a chance to play national power St. John’s College High School from Washington, D.C. last week because of Hurricane Florence, will travel to the west coast to take-on the nation’s top team Mater Dei (California). IMG enters the game ranked No. 5 in the High School Football America 100.
Then there’s the huge in-state showdown between No. 2 Miami Central and No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas. Central is ranked No. 7 in our national rankings, while STA is No. 9.
The third big game will feature defending state champs No. 7 American Heritage and No. 8 Chaminade-Madonna.
The only new team to the statewide rankings this week is Columbia at No. 25.
