Good Counsel, which finished No. 58 in last year’s High School Football America 100, will play four teams in 2019 that finished last year in our national rankings.
The Falcons will travel across the country on September 13 to play St. John Bosco (California), which finished No. 3 in the nation. The game will be part of the tripleheader known as the Trinity League vs. USA Showcase.
Then there are the three big Washington Catholic Athletic Conference matchups on back-to-back-to-back weekends in October. It starts with GC playing No. 18 Gonzaga (Washington, DC) on October 11, then No. 6 St. John’s College High School (Washington, DC) on October 18 and gauntlet end with arch-rival DeMatha (Maryland), which finished No. 36 last year, on October 25.
