It’s a quiet week in the High School Football America Alabama Top 10 with no changes within the statewide rankings, but things could change quickly.
Coming-up on Friday, top-ranked Hoover will square-off with No. 5 Thompson. Last year, after Hoover beat the Warriors during the regular season, Thompson ousted the Bucs in the Class 7A state semifinals.
Hoover, which climbed to No. 11 in our High School Football America 100 on Sunday, is in the middle of a brutal schedule that has seen the Bucs having already beaten defending 7A champ Central (Phenix City) and Florida-power Cocoa. After Thompson, the Bucs will face No. 3 Hewitt Trussville on September 13.
On Sunday, H-T cracked the Top 100 at No. 92. No. 2 Central is currently ranked No. 35 in our nation poll.
