Two-time defending High School Football America “mythical” national champ Mater Dei (Santa Ana, California) found itself down 21-20 at the half against No. 33 St. John’s College High School (Washington, DC) Friday night on national television. However, the second half was a different story as the No. 1 Monarchs, led by Alabama-commit Bryce Young, smoked the Cadets 33-3 in the second half for a 53-24 victory.
