Defending Class 7A champ Central (Phenix City) moves up to No. 2 in the High School Football America Alabama Top 10 after beating former No. 7 Auburn 38-0 to advance to the state championship game. The Red Devils will play top-ranked Thompson in a rematch of the 2018 state title game.

Thompson beat former No. 2 Hoover in the other semifinal 35-21.
