Williamstown finishes the season with a 12-1 record, while the loss stops an unexpected postseason run by Cherokee, which ended the regular season with a 3-5 record and on a four-game win streak. Cherokee finishes 2019 with a 6-7 overall record.

“To beat a team with a 25-game winning streak, it takes an effort you can’t back down from, you can’t shy away from,” said Willingboro coach Steve Everette. “You can’t shirk on lifts, you can’t cut corners. Our kids have done it right and we’re 12-1, we’re regional champs and it feels really, really good.
