Jordan Facing Massillon (OH) in Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series

The Jordan (UT) Beetdiggers out-of-state roadshow continues in 2008 with a trip to the Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series in Ohio for a game against nationally renowned Massillon on Saturday at 8 PM at Fawcett Stadium at the Football Hall of Fame in Canton.

The past two seasons, the Beetdiggers have travelled to Valdosta, Georgia for games against high school football’s winningest program. Both times Jordan returned to Utah will loses, including last year’s 23-21 defeat. Massillon is America’s third winningest high school football program. Jordan, which lost its season opener against Northridge 41-37, has won 11 Utah state football championships.

Jordan isn’t the only Utah team playing out-of-state games, six other schools will be on-the-road. Here are those games.

Pine View vs. Dominguez, Calif., 5 p.m.
