Archbishop Rummel wrapped-up the No. 1 ranking in the High School Football America Louisiana Top 10 with its 14-10 win over No. 2 Catholic (Baton Rouge) for the Division I state championship.
This weekend, No. 5 Acadiana will play No. 7 Destrehan for the state’s Class 5A state title in a intra-Top 10 battle. No. 4 Edna Karr will be looking for its fourth straight state title when it faces Warren Easton in the 4A title game. No. 10 St. James plays for the 3A state title.
