Texas is the top state in the 2020 NFL Draft as far as former high school football players being taken over the seven rounds. California was second, followed by California with 23, Florida with 22 and Georgia with 21.
Texas snapped Florida run of two straight drafts of having the most former high schoolers taken. It’s the first time since 2016, that the Lone Star State finishes on-top.
