The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools is making changes to its 2020 high school football schedule.
On Thursday, TAPPS expanded the regular season from the previously announced six games to eight contests. The regular season will start one week earlier on September 24 and will end one week later on November 14.

The change also moves the TAPPS state championship games back a week to December 10 through December 13.
