Trinity’s Bob Beatty reportedly applies for head coach job at Bentonville HS

Trinity Shamrocks footballThe Courier-Journal is reporting that Trinity High School‘s Bob Beatty is one of 33 people who have applied for the head coaching position at Bentonville High School in Arkansas.

Beatty has led the Shamrocks to 11 Kentucky state titles in 15 seasons.  Overall, Beatty’s teams have gone 181-32.  The 11 Kentucky state titles ties Beatty with former Highlands coach Dale Mueller for the most state football titles in state history.

The Courier-Journal says the Bentonville is expected to name a replacement for Barry Lunney on March 16th.  Lunney led Bentonville to four titles in ten years.
