Lowndes opened the 2020 season by beating No. 20 Archer 35-21 in the Corky Kell Classic, which keeps the Vikings No. 1 in the first in-season High School Football America Georgia Top 25. This week, the Vikings take-on No. 25 Griffin.

Valdosta, under new head coach Rush Propst, is this week’s biggest mover. The Wildcats are up four spots to No. 5 after knocking-off former No. 6 Warner Robins 28-25.

Valdosta won the game on a 41-yard field goal with :25 seconds to go in the game. Warner Robins was hurt by two missed extra points and a failed 2-point conversion.

Norcross climbs four spots to No. 18 after beating Hillgrove 30-21. Trey Goodman averaged over 25 yards per catch. He caught four balls for 108 yards and two touchdowns.

Another four spot mover is Westlake, which is up to No. 19 this week after beating John Creek 13-7.

Collins Hill moves-up three spots to No. 15 after beating former No. 16 Carrollton 46-24. The Eagles were led by 4-star junior quarterback Sam Horn, who threw for 364 yards and three touchdowns.

Richmond Hill also moves-up three positions to No. 16 after beating Camden County 28-11.

North Gwinnett moves-up one spot is week after a solid 35-7 win over former No. 12 McEachern.

There are two new teams in the latest rankings — Allatoona at No. 21 and Crisp County at No. 24.
