Starkville remains a solid No. 1 in the latest High School Football America Mississippi Top 10 after a 38-20 win over former No. 3 South Panola.
Florida State commit Luke Altmyer completed 15 of his 26 pass attempts for 201 yards with three touchdowns. He also added a touchdown on the ground on 83 yards rushing.

South Panola drops to No. 5 in the latest statewide rankings, allowing Oxford and Madison-Ridgeland to move-up a spot each to No. 3 and No. 4 respectively.
