Lovejoy’s 19-7 upset of former No. 3 North Gwinnett moves the Wildcats into the High School Football America Georgia Top 25 at No. 20. NG drops to No. 6 in the latest statewide rankings.
Colquitt County moves-up three spots to No. 3 after beating arch-rival Valdosta. The Packers 24-10 win drops Valdosta from No. 4 to No. 8. Valdosta also learned this week that transfer 4-star QB Jake Garcia is ineligible. Garcia played in the team’s season-opening win over Warner Robins. He missed the last two games with a hamstring injury.
Collins Hill, whose only loss is to No. 2 Grayson, is the biggest mover this week, jumping eight spots to No. 11
