Four weeks after opening the regular season, arch-rivals Cass Tech and Detroit King will go at each other again — this time in the Detroit Public School League championship.
In the season opening matchup, Cass Tech scored two fourth quarter touchdown to beat the defending PSL champs 34-26.
Tech, ranked No. 5 in the latest High School Football America Michigan Top 10, last won the PSL title in 2018, beating King for the crown. No. 6 King won the league title last year, beating CT.
Saturday’s championship game will feature lots of next-level talent with 15 players owning Division I college football scholarship offers.
