The only change in the latest High School Football America Georgia Top 25 statewide rankings comes at No. 18 and No. 19 where Mill Creek and North Cobb flip-flop positions. Mill Creek falls to No. 19 after a surprising 31-0 shutout at the hands of No. 17 North Gwinnett.
Mill Creek was missing starting quarterback Hayden Clark to injury. The Hawks have now gone 15 quarters in regulation without scoring an offensive touchdown. North Gwinnett, after back-to-back losses to No. 14 Lovejoy and No. 16 Archer, has now gone ten straight quarters without allowing a touchdown.
With No. 1 Valdosta and No. 3 Colquitt County having one more week in quarantine for COVID-19 and No. 2 Grayson and No. 4 Brookwood on bye weeks, No. 5 Norcross will look to close the gap on the top teams when it plays Mill Creek.
The top ten teams in the statewide rankings are also ranked nationally in the High School Football America 100. Warner Robins, Valdosta and Allatoona are ranked on the bubble at No. 104, No. 113 and No. 116 respectively.
