No changes in the High School Football America Alabama Top 10 heading into the second round of the playoffs

The High School Football America Alabama Top 10 was a perfect 10-for-10 in the first round of the 2020 high school football playoffs. That means there are no changes in the last statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

Look for movement next week with several big head-to-head matchups inside the Top 10 in Round 2.

Top-ranked and defending 7A state champ hosts No. 3 Hewitt-Trussville. On September 18, the Warriors beat H-T 35-21. You can watch highlights of that nationally-televised game below.

In another intra-Top 10 Class 7A quarterfinal, No 7 Central (Phenix City) travels to No. 10 Theodore.

As far as the national high school football rankings, St. Paul’s cracked the High School Football 100 at No. 98. It’s the first appearance ever by the Saints in our Top 100.
