McCallie’s 28-18 of former No. 2 Brentwood Academy shakes-up the latest High School Football America Tennessee Top 10. McCallie slides-up two spots to No. 2 to No. 7, while Brentwood falls to No. 4.
In two weeks, McCallie will play No. 6 Memphis University School for the Division II-AAA state championship.
Oakland moves-up a spot to No. 2, which sets-up Friday night’s Class 6A state semifinal showdown between defending state champ Maryville. Last year, Oakland beat the Rebels during the regular season, but Maryville gained revenge with a win in the state semis, which led to the Rebels winning their 17th overall high school football state championship.
