Dupont Manual had to put-up with a lot this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Friday night, the Crimsons looked like they were ready to advance to the Kentucky 6A quarterfinals with a win against No. 9 St. Xavier. However, Manual, which only played four regular season games this year, saw a St. X Hail Mary end its season.

St. X moves-up two spots to No. 7 in the latest High School Football America Kentucky Top 10 statewide rankings, while Manual slips to No. 8. This week, the Tigers will play No. 3 North Hardin.

Another Top 10 showdown this week will be in Class 5A where defending state champ and No. 5 Covington Catholic plays No. 4 Douglass. It will be a rematch of last year’s state title game that was won by the Colonels 14-7.

New to the rankings this week is Boyle County at No. 10
