A lack of numbers and a lack of success on the field has led to an end of the North Pulaski High School football program.
School officials have announced that the program that has only won six games since 2004 is officially over and remaining players will be able to join the team at Jacksonville High. North Pulaski will be the state’s largest school by enrollment that won’t field a football team this year.
After two years as head coach, Teodis Ingram resigned after a 1-8-1 season in 2014. Media reports show that the school had less than 20 players in its offseason program.
Since 2004, North Pulaski has gone 6-91-1.
