With the first in-season High School Football America 100 being released at 6 PM on Sunday, here’s a look at the national rankings bubble, better known as The Other 100.

The biggest surprise of the weekend was in Georgia where previously unranked Creekside shocked defending 7A champ Grayson, which began the season ranked highly in all of the national ranking services. Creekside school bursts into the national rankings at No. 136 after a 19-14 win Friday night..

The Seminoles will put their first-ever High School Football America ranking to the test against No. 161 Westlake (Atlanta, Georgia) on September 3 after a bye week. The Lions opened with an impressive 29-14 over Archer, one of the honorable mention teams in our preseason rankings. This week, Westlake will be tested by No. 38 Colquitt County (Georgia).

Grayson tumbles 130 spots to No. 147 this week.

Another surprise was the loss of preseason No. 85 Madison-Ridgeland losing to Greenville Christian in a battle of defending champs in Week 1. Greenville Christian, the defending 3A champs, topped two-time defending 6A champ MRA 58-32 with quarterback D.J. Smith amassing 500 yards in total offense with seven touchdowns.

Then this past weekend, GC beat another 6A powerhouse in Jackson Prep 48-13. The Saints from outside our preseason Top 300 teams to No. 114 this week.

Like, Creekside and Greenville Christian, South Pointe (South Carolina) goes from unranked to a spot in the Top 200 at No. 178 after knocking-off arch-rival and preseason No. 112 Northwestern (South Carolina). The loss dropped the Trojans to No. 195.

Graduating from preseason honorable mention into The Other 100 this week are: Springfield (Ohio) at No. 178, Orange Lutheran (California) at No. 187, Brownsburg (Indiana) at No. 192 and Los Alamitos (California) at No. 199.
