Adams moves-up to No. 4 in the latest High School Football America Michigan Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football. The Highlanders move-up a notch after beating defending Division 1 state champ 14-13 in the state quarterfinals. It was the second time that Adams beat the champs in 2021.
Next-up for Adams is No. 8 Grand Blanc, which edged former No. 7 Rockford 28-27. The winner of Adams/Grand Blanc moves to the state championship at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.
In the other Division 1 state semi, No. 3 Belleville will play Sterling Heights Stevenson.
