Nationally-ranked De La Salle Collegiate captures Michigan Division 2 high school football championship

De La Salle Collegiate junior quarterback Brady Drogosh’s tossed three touchdowns to lead the Pilots to a 41-14 win against Traverse City Central in the Michigan Division 2 state championship at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.

The championship is the fourth overall for DLS, which entered the game ranked No. 2 in the High School Football America Michigan Top 10 and No. 140 in our national rankings. Traverse City Central began the game ranked No. 10 in our statewide rankings.

Drogosh finished 14-of-19 for 142 yards through the air. He carried the ball 19-times for 177 yards.

The Pilots defense was very strong throughout. Their defense held Traverse City Central to 149 yards in total offense.

De La Salle finishes a perfect 13-0. Traverse City Central closes-out 12-2.
