Grand Rapids Catholic Central adds another Michigan state championship trophy to its trophy case

For the fifth time in six years and seventh time in twelve years, Grand Rapids Catholic Central is a Michigan high school football state champ. Saturday, GRCC beat Marine City 31-7 for the Division 5 title at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. It is the Cougars third straight state title.

GRCC finishes a perfect 14-0, which is the school’s third unbeaten season in the last five years.
