Archbishop Bergan wins first Nebraska high school football title in 42 years

The wait is over for Archbishop Bergan football. Tuesday, the Knights beat Norfolk Catholic 49-20 to capture the C-2 high school football state championship.

Archbishop Bergan was led by quarterback Koa McIntyre, who threw for 259 yards and five touchdowns.

The last state title for the Knights was in 1979.
