Cedar Creek, the highest-ranked public school in New Jersey, is the 2021 South/Central Group 3 regional champ after a thrilling 35-34 win over Camden’s Woodrow Wilson High School at SHI Stadium at Rutgers. Both teams entered the game ranked in the High School Football America New Jersey Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football.

The Pirates, ranked No. 10 in the Top 25, trailed 22-0 five minutes into the game. Cedar Creek mounted its comeback with quarterback JC Landicini throwing for 288 yards and five touchdowns.
The game wasn’t decided until the final play. On a fourth-and-goal at the 7, Woodrow Wilson quarterback Devin Kargman tossed the ball to tailback Naz’Sir Oglesby, who was stopped a half yard short of the end zone.
Officials reviewed the play for four minutes before ruling that Oglesby didn’t get into the end zone for No. 13 Woodrow Wilson.
West Morris Central won the North Group 3 regional title with a 53-14 win over Cranford.
