Even though we just unveiled the 2021 High School Football America All-America (AAA) Team, it’s never too early to start thinking about 2022.
With the help of scoutSMART and GMTM, High School Football America is now accepting nominations for our 2022 AAA Watch List.
There are three ways for coaches and student-athletes to submit nominations for the 2022 Academic All-America Watch List that is powered by scoutSMART.
Just like the first two years, to qualify, a student-athlete must be a contributing member of a varsity football program and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Nomination Option #1
If you’re a coach and want to nominate your player(s), you can email us at [email protected].
If your student-athlete qualifies, make sure you provide the following in your email:
- Student’s Name
- High School
- Position
- Class
- GPA
- Test Scores: ACT/SAT (if available)
- A short description of their contribution on and off the field
Student-athletes can submit their names through our partners at scoutSMART and GMTM. Players, if you nominate yourself, we will need to verify your 2022 grades through a coach or official transcripts.
scoutSMART and GMTM are completely FREE platforms for student-athletes. We suggest that student-athletes enroll on both platforms.

If you’re a student-athlete who already has a scoutSMART profile, please update your academic information for the latest semester NOW.
Nomination Option #3 through GMTM
Coaches and student-athletes can also enroll through GMTM, the LinkedIn for high school athletes. On GMTM, student-athletes can also submit videos describing why they deserve to be an Academic All-American that will enhance their exposure.
