With one of the toughest high school football schedules in the nation, East St. Louis begins 2022 as the top team in the High School Football America Illinois Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Flyers will play three teams inside our Preseason 300.

This Saturday, ESL will find-out how good this year’s team will be when it faces No. 4 St. Frances Academy from Baltimore, Maryland. The following week (September 3), the Flyers will play Missouri Class 6 state champ Christian Brothers College, ranked No. 77 in America. On September 9, they’ll play Creekside from Atlanta, Georgia, ranked No. 181 in the Top 300.
