Lancaster and Prosper are the newest entrants into the High School Football America Texas Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football.
Lancaster is No. 20 this week after surprising former No. 8 and defending state champ South Oak Cliff. SOC drops to No. 25 this week. This week, the Tigers will test that No. 20 ranking against No. 4 Denton Guyer.
South Oak Cliff will try to avoid an 0-3 start when it plays No. 6 DeSoto, which is coming-off a loss to St. Frances Academy (Maryland), the nation’s No. 4 team.

Prosper comes in at No. 23. The Eagles will host No. 16 Rockwall this week.
This week’s big game features No. 1 North Shore hosting No. 11 Westfield. Last year, Westfield was the only team to beat the 2021 Class 6A Division I champs.
The third head-to-head Top 25 matchup this week is No. 8 Allen playing No. 10 Arlington Martin.
