The Week 3 winner of the Houston Texans High School Coach of the Week Award is Wade Miller of Uvalde High School.
This past Sunday, the Texans hosted Miller and his team at its season opener against the Indianapolis Colts. The team wore “Uvalde Strong” decals on their helmets in honor of the 19 children and two teachers who were killed in a shooting there in May.

The Texans paid for Uvalde to make the 280-mile trip to Sunday’s game. Shortly after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, the Texans donated $400,000 to a memorial fund established after the horrific shooting.
Coach Miller has Ulvalde off to a 2-1 start this season.
