People in Lacey, Washington are calling Brady Olson a hero after tackling a 16-year old North Thurston High School student after he opened fire Monday. Olson is a former assistant football coach at the school.
The school district released the following statement from the 43-year old Olson —
“I reacted in a way that any other teacher would react and at the sound of a gunshot had three other adults, including Tim Brown, Dean of Students, Principal Steve Rood, and Security Officer, Jim Beltico, going toward the sound of gun fire rather than away.”
Luckily no one was hurt during the shooting.
